White vaseline is a skin care product and cosmetic as well as a universal lubricant and care product for household, hobby and sports use. It is also suitable for the production of semi-solid medicines. Vaseline is used as an ointment base, cold protection and skin protection due to its caring, protective and water-repellent properties. It protects the skin from drying out, strengthens the skin barrier and binds moisture. Especially in the cold season, vaseline can help protect irritated skin from dehydration, cold and mechanical irritation, whether on the hands, lips or face.
