Cinnabsin tablets is a homeopathic medicine used to treat inflammation of the sinuses. It contains the active ingredients Cinnabaris Trit. D3, Hydrastis Trit. D3, Kalium bichromicum Trit. D3 and Echinacea Trit. D1. The medicine comes in the form of tablets and is suitable for children from 6 years of age and adults. Before using Cinnabsin, it should be noted that it must not be used if you are allergic to any of the active or excipient substances or have an allergic reaction to daisies. Particular caution is advised in the case of facial swelling, fever and severe headache, as well as in the case of prolonged self-medication without improvement of the symptoms or in the case of unclear or newly occurring symptoms. The medicinal product is also not recommended in certain diseases, such as advanced systemic diseases, systemic diseases of the white blood cell system or immunodeficiency. In patients with atopic diseases, it should only be used after consultation with the doctor. The dosage of cinnabsin depends on age and symptoms. For acute symptoms, adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take one tablet every half to one hour for the first 2 days, but no more than 6 times a day. For subsequent treatment or in chronic courses, adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over take 1 tablet 1 to 3 times a day. Children from 6 to under 12 years of age receive half the adult dose. The tablet can be dissolved in water. The medicine should not be taken for longer than 4 weeks without medical advice. Side effects may occur, such as hypersensitivity reactions, nausea and vomiting. If allergies or salivation occur after taking the medicine, it should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted. A temporary aggravation of the symptoms may occur.
