Korsolex basic is an aldehyde-containing disinfectant that was specifically developed for the manual reprocessing of thermolabile and thermostable instruments.It is characterized by a broad spectrum of activity, including both virucidal and sporicidal properties against C. difficile.The product is known for its high material compatibility and is listed in RKI-Lists A and B.

Application

Korsolex basic serves as an aldehyde-based disinfectant concentrate with a comprehensive spectrum of effects.It is used for manual reprocessing of invasive and non-invasive medical devices, including flexible endoscopes.In addition, it is suitable for final disinfection according to the RKI guidelines.

Composition

The main ingredients of Korsolex basic are glutaral with a concentration of 50 mg/g, benzyl-C12-18-alkyldimethylammonium chloride with 30 mg/g and didecyldimethylammonium chloride also with 30 mg/g.These ingredients contribute to effective disinfection.
