Sinupret Forte Coated Tablets are a herbal medicine for the treatment of inflammation of the sinuses. The tablets contain active herbal ingredients such as verbena, gentian root, elderflower, primrose and sorrel herb. These ingredients have an expectorant and decongestant effect by loosening the mucus and causing the mucous membranes of the sinuses to swell down. This can relieve blocked noses, colds and headaches. The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over is one coated tablet three times a day, regardless of meals. The tablet should be taken unchewed with some liquid. The duration of treatment should not exceed one to two weeks without medical advice. In case of prolonged or regularly recurring complaints, a doctor should be consulted. Sinupret Forte is well tolerated and contains no colourings, gluten or animal ingredients. It should not be taken if there is hypersensitivity to the ingredients. It should also not be taken by children under 12 years of age or during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
