PANTOSTIN is a solution for increasing the reduced anagen hair rate in mild hormonally induced hair loss in men and women. The medicinal product contains the active substance alfatradiol. The recommended dose is 3 ml once daily in the evening and should be applied to the scalp. After improvement of the hair loss, the application can be reduced to every second to third day. The medicinal product should not be used for longer than 1 year, no evidence has been found on the efficacy and tolerability of prolonged use. The medicinal product is contraindicated in persons under 18 years of age and in cases of known hypersensitivity to alfatradiol or other components of the medicinal product. Possible side effects are hypersensitivity reactions of the skin. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use the medicinal product.
