Allergika basic ointment is a medicine for the treatment of chronic skin processes in dry skin.It is used as an interval treatment for skin diseases that are treated with ointments or creams containing corticosteroids, such as dermatitis and psoriasis.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The effective ingredient of Allergika Basic Ointment is thick paraffin.The ointment contains white petroleum jelly as an additional ingredient (excipient).

Application and dosage

Allergika basic ointment is applied to the affected skin areas 1-3 times a day and massaged in gently.The frequency of use alternating with the corticosteroid-containing preparation is determined by the doctor.The duration of application depends on the progress of treatment and can be 1-3 weeks.Hands should be washed before application and the tube opening should not come into contact with the affected area of skin.

Contraindications and precautions

Allergic base ointment should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.The ointment is not suitable for use on mucous membranes or eyes.When treating the genital or anal area, the ingredients white petroleum jelly and viscous paraffin can lead to a reduction in the tear resistance of latex condoms, which can affect safety.

Storage

Keep allergy basic ointment out of the reach of children and do not store the medicine above 25°C.Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the carton or container.
