The Eucerin AtopiControl acute care cream was developed specifically for the treatment of neurodermatitis.It helps with acute flare-ups by relieving itching, reducing skin inflammation and soothing the skin.The cream can be applied to the affected skin areas as often as necessary to provide relief.

This cream offers numerous advantages: It relieves acute attacks of mild neurodermatitis, counteracts dry, irritated and irritated skin and intensively nourishes the body and face.It is suitable for adults, children and babies from three months of age.

I really wanted to try the Atopi cream for my son. Since he was born, he has always been prone to small skin rashes that tend towards neurodermatitis. I also wanted to try the cream because of the brand. My son tolerates the cream very well, it is easy to remove from the tube and is pleasant to apply. The small red and dry patches have also decreased significantly since using the cream and the skin is no longer so dry and my son no longer itches so often. The skin on my elbows is also much smoother since using the cream. It's well worth investing a little more.

We are currently using Eucerin cream more as basic care than acute care. This is because my child doesn't have any flare-ups at the moment and I can't really use it as a substitute for cortisone. However, I find that the cream spreads well and smells pleasant.

My daughter has a mild form of neurodermatitis and I always suffer with her during an attack. The acute cream will now be a permanent fixture in our bathroom, as it provided relief straight away. It also had a slight cooling effect at first, but this has diminished and is no longer present. The cream is economical and you only need to apply a thin layer to the affected skin. It is easily absorbed and does not leave an unpleasant film on the skin. We use another product from the Atopi range for occasional skin care.

As a neurodermatitis sufferer since 2020, I am always looking for effective medication and creams to treat my chronic symptoms as well as current rashes and infections. I became aware of AtopiControl Acute Care Cream because of the new combination of active ingredients and the advertised relief of acute skin inflammation. In contrast to many other creams on the market, Eucerin does not explicitly exclude the use of "AtopiControl Acute Care Cream" on inflamed skin / open neurodermatitis wounds. Since buying and using this cream, I have had to struggle much less frequently with open eczema on the outside of my hands and thus the need for strong, cortisone-containing medication. The cream forms a visible protective film and does not sting, not even on open eczema. Unfortunately, I still had a relapse in the meantime, which I was admittedly only able to alleviate by using Betagalen 0.1% (only 3x / week overnight) - with simultaneous care with Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream and other care products. Lastly: The cream is relatively liquid, but can be dispensed very precisely with the tube. Overall, I would classify the effect of "Eucerin AtopiControl Acute Care Cream" as above average. Unfortunately, I can't do completely without topical medication - but every patient is different. A lower price would be desirable, but unfortunately you can do it with chronically ill patients…
