The FIWA komp gauze compresses are non-sterile, 17-thread gauze compresses made from gauze according to DIN EN 14079. They are made of 100% cotton and have folded cut edges.These compresses are suitable for general wound care, especially for initial care of dirty, infected and exuding wounds.They can also be used as swabs or as compresses for minor surgical procedures in the outpatient clinic or on the ward for external use.Before contact with open wounds, the item must be sterilized using a validated procedure.
