ES-Compresses are classic gauze compresses with folded cut edges.They are made of gauze EN 14079, which is woven with 17 threads.These compresses can be opened several times in larger formats and can be used without annoying edge threads.They are characterized by good absorbency, air permeability, softness and suppleness.The compresses are available in different layers and are available both sterile and non-sterile.

Area of application

ES-Compresses sterile 5x5 cm 8-fold are used for general wound care, especially for the initial care of dirty, infected and heavily secreting wounds.They are also suitable as swabs and compresses for minor surgical procedures in the outpatient clinic and on the ward.

Contraindications

Dosage

Recommended use of ES-Compresses sterile 5x5 cm 8-fold: If necessary, remove the sterile compresses from the film using gloves.By whipping the compress, select the required size and generously cover the wound.
