UrgoSuperabsorber is a sterile, superabsorbent wound dressing specifically designed for exuding wounds.The product's superabsorbent core absorbs the exudate and stores it with gel formation, reducing the risk of maceration at the wound edges and maintaining a moist wound environment.Both sides of the wound dressing can be placed directly on the wound.

No prescription is required for this product.It is a medical device.Please read the instructions in the package insert carefully and familiarize yourself with the functions and usage before use.

Indications

UrgoSuperabsorber is suitable for use on exuding wounds.

Contraindications

UrgoSuperabsorber should not be used on eyes, mucous membranes, tendons, dry wounds or in wound cavities as the wound dressing swells during absorption.In addition, the product should not be used on people with a known hypersensitivity to the wound dressing or its components.

Application instructions

UrgoSuperabsorber can be used as both a primary and secondary dressing.Clean the wound according to local protocol and carefully dry the surrounding skin.Select the size of the wound dressing according to the size of the wound, with the edges of the absorbent core overlapping the wound with a margin.The wound dressing must have direct contact with the wound base or the primary dressing and should be fixed.

UrgoSuperabsorber can be used in combination with compression therapy.The dressing should be changed depending on the clinical condition of the wound or before the wound dressing is completely saturated.If the condition of the wound worsens, contact your healthcare professional.Removing the wound dressing can be made easier by moistening it.Dispose of the wound dressings as medical waste in accordance with local regulations.

Precautions

The wound dressing should not be cut and the wrapping must remain intact.Do not use the wound dressing if the sterile packaging is damaged.It is a disposable product that cannot be re-sterilized and cannot be reused.
