UrgoSuperabsorber is a sterile, superabsorbent wound dressing specifically designed for exuding wounds.The product's superabsorbent core absorbs and stores exudate with gel formation, reducing the risk of maceration at the wound edges and maintaining a moist wound environment.Both sides of the wound dressing can be placed directly on the wound.

Indications

UrgoSuperabsorber is a sterile, superabsorbent wound dressing for use on exuding wounds.

Contraindications

UrgoSuperabsorber should not be used on eyes, mucous membranes, tendons, on dry wounds or in wound cavities as the wound dressing swells during absorption.In addition, UrgoSuperabsorber should not be used on people with a known hypersensitivity to the wound dressing or its components.

Application instructions

UrgoSuperabsorber should be used on exuding wounds and can be used as a primary or secondary dressing.Clean the wound according to local protocol and carefully dry the surrounding skin.Select the size of the wound dressing according to the wound size, with the edges of the absorbent core overlapping the wound with a margin as the seal edges do not absorb exudate.

UrgoSuperabsorber must have direct contact with the wound base or the primary dressing.Fix the wound dressing and change it depending on the clinical condition of the wound or before the wound dressing is completely saturated.If the condition of the wound worsens, contact your healthcare professional.Removing the wound dressing can be made easier by moistening it.Dispose of the wound dressings as medical waste in accordance with local regulations.

UrgoSuperabsorber can be used in combination with compression therapy.

Precautions

The wound dressing should not be cut; the wrapping must remain intact.Do not use the wound dressing if the sterile packaging is damaged.UrgoSuperabsorber is a disposable product and cannot be re-sterilized or reused.
