UrgoStart Tül is a wound dressing with a polyester grid and the TLC-NOSF-wound healing matrix.This matrix promotes the healing of lower leg and pressure ulcers, reducing healing time.The bandage enables economical wound therapy and improves the quality of life of patients.Thanks to its flexibility, it is also suitable for wounds in difficult areas and for packing deep wounds.The dressing change is atraumatic and painless.

Areas of application

UrgoStart Tül is used for chronic wounds such as lower leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers.It is also suitable for deep and fissured chronic wounds from the granulation phase onwards.

Application

UrgoStart Tül can be cut with sterile scissors to adjust the size of the dressing to the wound.The wound dressing is covered with a secondary dressing adapted to the exudate volume, for example with sterile gauze compresses, UrgoSuperabsorber or UrgoSuperSuperabsorber.An elastic bandage, a stretchy plaster or a tubular bandage can be used for fixation.The wearing time is 2 to 4 days.A treatment period of at least 8 weeks is recommended.

Contraindications

UrgoStart Tül must not be used on tumor-induced wounds and fistula-like wounds with deep pus formation (abscess).The bandage should also not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to UrgoStart Tül.
