Directions for use of the article Digestodoron Tablets: Digestodoron Tablets are an anthroposophic medicinal product for the treatment of digestive disorders. They are used to treat disorders of secretory and motility activity and of the environment in the digestive tract, including chronic inflammatory disorders such as heartburn, nausea, flatulence, diarrhoea, constipation and inflammatory disorders of the small and large intestines. Some precautions should be observed before taking Digestodoron Tablets. The medicine should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients, wheat starch or salicylates. In case of persistent or new symptoms, a doctor should be consulted. In inflammatory diseases of the small and large intestine as well as in gastric and duodenal ulcers, the medicinal product should only be used after consulting a doctor. The use of Digestodoron Tablets is not recommended during pregnancy and breast-feeding, as certain components may enter the bloodstream of the unborn child and pass into breast milk. The recommended dosage for Digestodoron tablets is as follows: Adults and adolescents take 2-4 tablets, school children aged 6 to 11 years take 1-2 tablets, infants aged 2 to 5 years take 1 tablet, and infants and young children under 2 years take 1/2 tablet. It should be taken 1-3 times a day about 15 minutes before meals with some water. Children up to 5 years of age can take the tablets crushed or dissolved in water or tea. Side effects may occur, such as allergic reactions. In this case, the medicine should be stopped and a doctor consulted. Digestodoron tablets contain lactose and wheat starch and should therefore be taken with caution if there is an intolerance to certain sugars.
