The set pack of gauze compresses RK is specially designed for direct use in the OP-area.It is suitable for invasive applications to stop bleeding and absorb body fluids during surgical procedures.A radiopaque element in the product helps to detect gossypiboma, i.e. the presence of the product in the body.

The gauze pads are made of cotton gauze according to DIN EN 14079 and are equipped with an RKthread, which is colored blue and consists of polypropylene, polyester thread and barium sulfate.They are absorbent and all have internal cut edges, which means there are no loose threads.The packaging is designed as an inner wrapping for sterile goods, which enables quick and safe product removal as well as counting control.In addition, double, self-adhesive counting cards are attached separately.

The product composition includes 100% cotton as well as an X-ray contrast thread, which is blue and consists of polypropylene, polyester yarn and barium sulfate.The product is available in various versions including 12-thread, 16-thread and 32-thread, as well as 17-thread and 20-thread.
