Instructions for use of the article Windsalbe: Windsalbe contains the active ingredient caraway oil and is used externally to support digestive function and improve the condition of flatulence. The dosage varies according to age: for children under 1 year of age, a 1 cm strand of ointment is massaged in around the navel; for children up to 6 years of age, 2 cm are used; and for children over 6 years of age and adults, 3 cm are used. The duration of application should generally be limited to 2 weeks; if symptoms persist, a doctor should be consulted. The wind ointment should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date. There are no known overdose symptoms. The wind ointment has possible side effects such as skin rash, itching and swelling. People with an allergy to certain spices should be careful.
