Sinupret Extract Coated Tablets are a herbal medicinal product for the treatment of acute, uncomplicated inflammation of the sinuses (rhinosinusitis) in adults and adolescents aged 12 and over. The tablets contain a dry extract of gentian root, cowslip flowers, dock herb, elderflower and verbena, which are used in a 4-fold concentrated amount. This combination of herbal active ingredients has an expectorant, anti-inflammatory and antiviral effect. Sinupret Extract relieves symptoms such as rhinitis, blocked nose, headache and facial pain or pressure. It loosens the stuck mucus, opens the nose and makes breathing easier. The herbal medicine is well tolerated and free from gluten and lactose. It is recommended to take one coated tablet three times a day with liquid. It should not be used for longer than one to two weeks without medical advice. Sinupret Extract is not suitable for children under 12 years of age and people with hypersensitivity to the ingredients, stomach or duodenal ulcers, diabetes or intolerance to glucose or sucrose.
