Sinupret® eXtract is a herbal medicine that is used for acute, uncomplicated inflammation of the paranasal sinuses (acute, uncomplicated rhinosinusitis) with symptoms such as a runny nose, stuffy nose, headache and facial pain or pressure.It is suitable for adults and teenagers aged 12 and over.The product contains glucose and sucrose (sugar).No prescription is required for this product.

Sinupret® eXtract contains a unique combination of five plants: gentian root, cowslip flowers, dock herb, elderflower and verbena.These plants work together to loosen mucus, open the nose, and clear the head.They also reactivate the body's own cleaning function of the mucous membrane.The coated tablets are easy to swallow and can be taken without regard to meals without causing annoying belching.They are well tolerated and can also be used in combination with other cold products such as eucalyptus oil, nasal rinses, nasal sprays or inhaler pens.

The clinical effectiveness of Sinupret® eXtract has been scientifically confirmed.It is vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free.Take one coated tablet three times a day with a little liquid.If there is no relief from symptoms after 14 days, you should seek medical advice.

Area of application

An acute sinus infection can be caused by a cold, flu or other infection.The mucous membranes of the paranasal sinuses become inflamed and swollen, which leads to a runny or stuffy nose.At the same time, you may experience a pressure headache, facial pain or even a toothache.Sinupret® eXtract supports the healing process on a plant basis and helps to alleviate symptoms.With its 5-plant combination, it loosens mucus, opens the nose and clears the head.It fights the inflammatory swelling and restores the natural self-cleaning process of the respiratory tract mucosa.

Active ingredients: 160.00 mg dry extract (3-6:1) from gentian root, cowslip flowers, dock herb, elderflower, verbena (1:3:3:3:3).Extractant: Ethanol 51%.Excipients: Arabic gum, spray-dried, calcium carbonate, carnauba wax, cellulose powder, microcrystalline cellulose, chlorophyll powder 25%, dextrin, glucose syrup, hypromellose, indigo carmine, aluminum salt, magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [pflanzlich], maltodextrin, riboflavin, sucrose, silicon dioxide, highly disperse, silicon dioxide,highly disperse, amorphous, hydrophobic, stearic acid, talc, titanium dioxide.

Contraindications

If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take one coated tablet three times a day.The tablets can be taken without regard to meals.For nasal congestion, Sinupret® eXtract tablets can be used together with decongestant nasal sprays.

Intake

The medicine is swallowed whole three times a day (morning, lunch and evening) with a little liquid (e.g. a glass of water).It can be taken with food, with drinks or independently of meals.If you have a sensitive stomach, it is best to take the medicine after meals.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor if your symptoms last longer than 7 to 14 days, get worse or recur periodically and/or if you experience persistent fever, severe pain or unclear symptoms.If you have known stomach inflammation or in patients with a sensitive stomach, special caution is required when taking it.It is best to take the product after meals and with a glass of water.The medicine should not be used in children under 12 years of age.There are currently no sufficient studies available for use in children under 12 years of age.

The medicine may have minor effects on the ability to drive or use machines in patients who experience the possible side effect of dizziness.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.For precautionary reasons, use of the preparation should be avoided during pregnancy.It is not known whether the active ingredients of the drug pass into breast milk.You should therefore not use the product while breastfeeding.

Contains glucose and sucrose (sugar).Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
