Instructions for use of the article Iscador Qu Series 0 Solution for injection Iscador Qu is an anthroposophical medicinal product for the extended treatment of tumour diseases. It is used to stimulate the formative and integrative forces to dissolve and reintegrate independent growth processes in the body. It is used for malignant and benign tumour diseases, for the prevention of tumour recurrence after operations and for defined preliminary stages of cancer. The medicinal product contains a fermented aqueous extract of oak mistletoe. It is injected under the skin, preferably near the tumour or metastases. The dosage is individual. At the beginning of the therapy, a gradual dosage is recommended to avoid overreactions. The optimal strength or dose must be determined individually. The treatment is continued and can last for several years. It is recommended to have rhythmic applications and breaks to avoid habituation effects. Possible side effects are a slight increase in body temperature, localised inflammatory reactions around the injection site, slight swelling of regional lymph nodes and allergic reactions. It is recommended to adjust the strength or dose or to take a break from therapy if side effects occur. The medicinal product should be stored in the refrigerator at a temperature between 2 °C and 8 °C. It must not be used after the expiry date. Further information can be found in the package leaflet.
