Application

Introduce:

Wash hands.Take the product out of the packaging.Moisten: If you moisten the tampon with a little lubricant or clean water, it will be even easier to insert.Before inserting, squeeze out some of the water to maintain absorbency.Adopt the optimal position for insertion: for example, squatting or sitting on the toilet.Hold the side of the tampon with two fingers and squeeze it.Place your finger in the hollow at the bottom and insert it like a conventional tampon.The menstrual sponge fits perfectly when it hugs the cervix.

Remove:

Wash hands.The optimal position for removal is best when squatting with your legs apart.Squeeze slightly to push the tampon out.This works best when it is full.Grip the handle tab with one finger and pull out the tampon.

Wearing time:

Change the soft tampon at regular intervals.Adjust the wearing time of the soft tampon to the changing strength of your menstruation.The wearing time should be a maximum of 8 hours.However, the manufacturer recommends changing after 4 to 6 hours.If you have heavy bleeding, you should change the soft tampons about every 3 to 5 hours.You reduce the risk of infection if you change the soft tampon immediately after visiting a swimming pool or having intimate intercourse without a condom.

Notes

The soft tampon cannot be removed:

Squat down and press hard like you would when defecating!This should cause the sponge to gradually slide down into the vagina so that you can grab it with your fingers and pull it out again.Simply leave the tampon in your vagina a little longer so that it can soak up properly.After all, it is easiest to remove when it is soaked.A relaxing bath also works wonders here and usually leads to the hoped-for success.

Instructions for use:

Soft tampons are not contraceptives.They are safe to use with condoms.If you have a coil inserted, you should consult your doctor.If you are unable to remove the soft tampon, a visit to your gynecologist is essential.
