How does hair loss occur?

Hair loss can have a variety of causes, including stress, hereditary factors, nutrient deficiencies, hormonal changes, lack of sleep and smoking.The most common form is hormonal hair loss, also known as androgenetic alopecia.The hair roots react oversensitively to the body's own messenger substance dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which leads to premature hair loss.Other factors such as stress, nutrient deficiencies or hormonal changes can also affect scalp physiology and cause hair loss.

Area of application

Ell-Cranell® 250 micrograms/ml is a medical scalp therapeutic that is used to increase the rate of hair growth in mild hormonal hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) in men and women.It has been specially developed for the scalp and works specifically on the hair roots.

Mode of action

The active ingredient alfatradiol in Ell-Cranell® inhibits the conversion of testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT), which inhibits hormonally caused hair loss.Ell-Cranell® is applied to the scalp once a day and does not need to be washed out.It is odorless, non-greasy and easy to use with an applicator.The first treatment successes can be noticed after six to eight weeks, and the maximum therapeutic success occurs after around six months.Long-term and regular use is necessary to achieve the best results.

1 ml Ell-Cranell® 250 micrograms/ml contains 0.25 mg alfatradiol as active ingredient as well as the excipients glycerol 85%, inositol, isopropyl alcohol and purified water.

Contraindications

Ell-Cranell® should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.There is no specific experience with use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so the product should not be used in these cases.

Dosage

Ell-Cranell® is applied to the affected areas of the scalp once a day, preferably in the evening after washing.To do this, the applicator is rotated and the solution is applied evenly with the “exit fingers”.Once hair loss has improved, use can be reduced to every second to third day.The duration of therapy is usually three to six months.

Intake

Ell-Cranell® is intended for external use only and must not get into the eyes or on mucous membranes.The solution is applied directly to the scalp and massaged in lightly with your fingertips.

Patient information

There is no experience for people under 18 years of age.There are no special precautions to be taken when driving or using machines.The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children.
