Gum Periobalance lozenges

GUM PerioBalance® lozenges are a dietary supplement containing Lactobacillus reuteri Prodentis®.This patented bacteria supports daily oral care.The lozenges have a fresh mint flavor and are suitable for vegetarians.The application is uncomplicated: one or two lozenges are used daily.

Area of application

GUM PerioBalance® contains a clinically tested combination of two complementary strains of Lactobacillus reuteri.This patented bacterium of human origin occurs naturally in saliva and is one of the few species of lactic acid bacteria found in both the oral cavity and the intestinal tract of humans.It has the ability to attach to saliva and the oral mucosa.Clinical studies have shown that Lactobacillus reuteri Prodentis® is safe for both children and adults when used as recommended.Each GUM PerioBalance® mint flavored lozenge contains at least 200 million viable Lactobacillus reuteri Prodentis by the best before date.The mint taste ensures fresh breath.Even higher doses of Lactobacillus reuteri Prodentis® are safe. GUM PerioBalance® is suitable for vegetarians.

GUM PerioBalance® contains the following ingredients: sugar substitute (isomalt), L.reuteri DSM 17938 and L. reuteri ATCC PTA 5289 (L.reuteri Prodentis) (4.5%), hydrogenated vegetable oil, peppermint flavor (1.9%), menthol flavor, peppermint oil (0.4%) and sweetener (sucralose).Protected by patents EP2040723, EP2229949 and other issued and pending patent applications.

Nutritional information per 100 g: Energy 1110.3 kJ/265.0 kcal, fat 5.8 g, of which saturated fatty acids 5.7 g, carbohydrates 79.9 g, of which sugar 1.3 g, polyhydric alcohols 78.6 g, protein 2.1 g, salt 0.4 g.Daily requirement (%) based on an 8400kJ/2000kcal diet.

Nutritional information per lozenge (800 mg): Energy 8.9 kJ/2.1 kcal, fat 46.4 mg, of which saturated fatty acids 45.6 mg, carbohydrates 639 mg, of which sugar 10.4 mg, polyhydric alcohols 629 mg, protein 16.8 mg, salt 3.4 mg.

Dosage
