GUM PerioBalance lozenges are a food supplement containing Lactobacillus reuteri Prodentis. They contain a clinically tested combination of two strains of this bacterium that occurs naturally in saliva. Lactobacillus reuteri Prodentis can attach to the oral mucosa and is found in both the oral cavity and intestinal tract of humans. Studies have shown that it is safe when used as recommended. Each lozenge contains at least 200 million viable bacteria. It is easy to use: after brushing your teeth, just let one lozenge slowly melt in your mouth. The tablets have a fresh mint flavour and are suitable for vegetarians. However, a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle are still important, as food supplements are no substitute for this. The product contains sugar substitutes, vegetable oil, peppermint flavouring and sweetener. There are no known contraindications, except for hypersensitivity to the ingredients.
