Resource Instant Protein is a casein-based protein powder and is used as a balanced diet for special medical purposes. It contains 90 g protein per 100 g powder and is neutral in taste. The powder can be used in hot and cooked foods and drinks and is heat-stable up to 70°C. It is suitable for people with elevated blood pressure. It is suitable for people with increased protein requirements, in cases of wound healing disorders, after major operations and for dialysis patients. The dosage is 10-15 g powder per 150 ml liquid or 150 g pureed food, depending on the age and nutritional needs of the patient. The product should be stored in a cool, dry place and prepared food should be consumed within 6 hours at room temperature or refrigerated within 24 hours. It contains no dietary fibre and is low in lactose and gluten-free. The product should be used under medical supervision and is suitable for children aged 3 years and over. The ingredients are milk protein, emulsifier (soya lecithin) and anti-caking agent (E341). It contains no known allergenic ingredients but may contain soya protein. The nutritional declaration shows 1.0 g fat, 0.5 g carbohydrates and 90 g protein per 100 g powder. Resource Instant Protein is manufactured by Allpharm Vertriebs-GmbH in Germany. It is not a sole source of nutrition and should be avoided in case of known hypersensitivity to the ingredients.
