Cold and rheumatism bath R Hofmann's is used to support the treatment of acute and chronic catarrhs of the respiratory tract as well as to support the treatment of rheumatic complaints.The active ingredient in this product is eucalyptus oil.No prescription is required for this product.

Important notes

Cold and rheumatism bath R Hofmann's must not be used in infants and small children under 2 years of age or in bronchial asthma.You should be particularly careful when using it if you are sensitized to cineole, the main component of eucalyptus oil, as hypersensitivity reactions can occur.Full baths should only be used after consulting a doctor, especially in the case of major skin injuries, acute unclear skin diseases, severe febrile and infectious diseases, heart failure and hypertension.The product is only to be used externally and must not be used around the eyes.

Application

To use it, it is recommended to add 12.5 ml (equivalent to half a measuring cup) of the bath additive to a full bath with a water temperature of 35-38°C and distribute it evenly.The bathing time should be 10-20 minutes.Cold and rheumatism bath R Hofmann's can be used up to 3-4 times per week as needed.If accidentally ingested, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may occur.In such cases, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Side effects and storage

Like all medicines, Cold and Rheum Bath R Hofmann's can have side effects, although not everyone gets them.Cineole can cause laryngeal spasm in infants and children up to 2 years of age.The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date stated on the packaging.After opening the container, the product can be used for another 3 months as long as it is closed tightly.

Contents of the pack

100 ml (= 103.8 g) bath additive contains 30.82 g eucalyptus oil as an active ingredient.The other ingredients are polysorbate 20, purified water and dye E 124. Cold and rheumatism bath R Hofmann's is a clear orange-red liquid and is available in 250 ml bottles.A measuring cup is included with the medicine as a dosing aid.
