Instructions for use for Kamillin External Robugen concentrate

Kamillin Extern Robugen is a concentrate used to prepare a solution for use on the skin.It is suitable for full and partial baths as well as sitz baths.The active ingredient of this product is an extract from chamomile flowers.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Kamillin Extern Robugen is used for skin and mucous membrane inflammation, inflammatory diseases of the anus, anal itching, after operations, inflammatory diseases in the area of the external genital organs, for the follow-up treatment of surgical wounds in the vagina and vaginal episiotomy, to relieve the symptoms of hemorrhoids, eczema or tears at the anus.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The medicinally active ingredient of Kamillin Extern Robugen is an extract from chamomile flowers.100 ml of the concentrate contains 94.2 g of chamomile flower extract (1:2.0-2.8).Propan-2-ol 48% (V/V) is used as an extractant.The other ingredients are purified water, macrogol lauryl ether (Ph. Eur.) and sodium hydroxide solution 50% (m/m).

Contraindications

Kamillin Extern Robugen must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to chamomile or other composite plants or any of the other ingredients of the drug.In the case of major skin injuries, acute unclear skin diseases, severe febrile and infectious diseases, heart muscle weakness or high blood pressure, full baths should only be used after consulting a doctor.

Dosage and application

Kamillin Extern Robugen should always be used exactly according to the instructions in the package leaflet.For partial and sitz baths add 20-40 ml to 20-40 l of water, for compresses, rinses and washes 20 ml to 1 l of water.For infant and children's baths, use 10-20 ml per 10-20 l of water, and for full baths use 80 ml per 150 l of water.The bathing temperature should be lukewarm (30 - 34°C) and the bathing time should be 10 - 12 minutes.

Side effects

Very rarely, hypersensitivity reactions can occur, even in people with hypersensitivity to other composite plants due to so-called cross-reactions.If side effects occur, you should stop using Kamillin Extern Robugen and consult a doctor.

Storage

Kamillin Extern Robugen should no longer be used after the expiry date stated on the bag and folding box.It should not be stored above 30°C and kept out of the reach of children.
