The ilon® ointment classic is a herbal solution for skin inflammation.It reliably relieves typical symptoms such as redness, feeling of tension, pain and swelling - even if pus forms!Its unique active complex of larch balsam, maritime pine and eucalyptus oil supports healing powerfully and naturally.Since 1929, ilon® has stood for natural effectiveness in treating skin inflammation.The ilon® ointment classic is the further development of the proven ilon abscess ointment.Its central active ingredient, larch balm, is harvested gently and by hand exclusively in Tyrol.The properties of the balm ensure that it can penetrate to the source of inflammation and develop its full effect there.Combined with essential oils, an effective, natural active complex is created.

Skin inflammation is often caused by bacteria that penetrate through the smallest skin injuries.The ilon® ointment classic has an antibacterial effect, specifically combats the cause of the inflammation and thus helps to quickly contain the infection - without any antibiotics, hydrocortisone or cortisone!As an anti-inflammatory ointment, ilon® reduces inflammatory substances and at the same time promotes the removal of waste materials such as pus due to its circulation-promoting properties.In this way, ilon® gently removes the inflammation from the skin and supports natural healing.For this reason, the ilon® ointment classic is often referred to as the “green train ointment”.

Areas of application

The ilon® ointment classic helps with various types of skin inflammation, including pimples under the skin, pustules or inflamed pimples, encapsulations, small abscesses, razor bumps, ingrown hairs, hair follicle inflammation and hair root inflammation.It is also effective for inflammation around the nails, e.g.B. due to ingrown nails, small foreign bodies under the skin such as splinters, sweat gland inflammation and scratched, inflamed mosquito bites or insect bites.

Active ingredients and ingredients

1 g of ilon ointment classic for inflammation of the skin contains: larch turpentine 54 mg, turpentine oil of the maritime pine type 72 mg, eucalyptus oil 12 mg.Other ingredients are white petroleum jelly, yellow wax, stearic acid, oleic acid, polysorbate 20, rosemary oil, thyme oil, thymol, chlorophyll-copper complex (E141), butylhydroxytoluene (E321).

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.Do not take the above product for children under 12 years old.

Dosage and application

Before applying the ilon ointment classic, carefully clean the inflamed skin area with alcohol or another disinfectant without pressing.Adults and young people aged 12 and over apply a 2 to 3 cm long strand of ointment to the inflammation, depending on the extent of the affected area, and cover it with a bandage.The bandage should be changed daily.For sufficient treatment success, application for at least 3 days may be necessary.

Patient information

If the skin inflammation or general condition worsens, or if there is no improvement after 3 days, a doctor should be consulted.The medicine must not be brought into the eyes.The medicine should not be used to treat fresh wounds and skin rashes.After using the ointment, wash your hands thoroughly.Other ingredients can cause localized skin irritation, irritation of the eyes and mucous membranes.

Pregnancy

Safety during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been adequately studied.Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding is not recommended.
