Hydrogen peroxide 3% Caelo

The hydrogen peroxide 3% solution is used as an antiseptic for rinsing and cleaning small wounds.It is stabilized with phosphoric acid 10% (DAB).No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

The solution is used to clean wounds, disinfect the mouth for bad breath and for rinsing for bleeding gums and inflammation of the oral mucosa.

Contraindications

In the case of a very rare, genetic catalase deficiency (acatalasemia), the effect of hydrogen peroxide solution 3% is reduced.There are no sufficient studies on its use during pregnancy, breastfeeding and in children under 12 years of age.Therefore, the solution should not be used by these people.

Application

Before use, the solution should be diluted 5 to 10 times, for example 1 to 2 tablespoons in a glass of water.Hydrogen peroxide 3% should not be used in closed body cavities to avoid the risk of gas embolism.

Notes

The solution is stabilized with phosphoric acid 10% (AB).Hydrogen peroxide solution 3% can bleach textiles.It should not be stored above 25°C and should be kept out of the reach of children.Do not use the product after the expiry date stated on the package.

Active ingredient per 1 g solution: 1 g hydrogen peroxide solution 3%.Other ingredients: phosphoric acid, purified water.
