This medicine is a pain-relieving and antipyretic medication used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever.It contains the active ingredient paracetamol, which has both analgesic and antipyretic properties.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The main active ingredient of this preparation is paracetamol at a dosage of 250 mg per sachet.In addition, it contains various excipients such as carmellose sodium salt, Eudragit E 100, hypromellose, magnesium oxide, magnesium stearate, sodium dodecyl sulfate, simeticone, sorbitol, stearic acid, sucralose, talc, titanium dioxide, strawberry flavor, maltodextrin, Arabic gum, natural and nature-identical flavors, propylene glycol, triacetin, vanilla flavor and sucrose.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be taken if you or your child are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients.Its use is also contraindicated in acute hepatitis.

Dosage

Always take this medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.The dosage depends on the patient's body weight and age.As a rule, the single dose is 10 to 15 mg of paracetamol per kilogram of body weight, although the maximum daily dose should not be exceeded 60 mg per kilogram of body weight.

For children aged 4 to 6 years (17 to 20 kg body weight), the single dose is 1 sachet (250 mg paracetamol), with a maximum daily dose of 4 sachets (1,000 mg paracetamol).Children aged 6 to 8 years (21 to 25 kg body weight) can also take 1 sachet as a single dose, but with a maximum daily dose of 5 sachets (1,250 mg paracetamol).For children aged 8 to 11 years (26 to 31 kg body weight), the single dose is also 1 sachet, but with a maximum daily dose of 6 sachets (1,500 mg paracetamol), leaving at least 4 hours between doses.

Particular caution is required in patients with liver or kidney dysfunction.In these cases, the dose should be reduced or the interval between doses increased.A total daily dose of 2 g must not be exceeded without medical advice.

No prescription is required for this product.

Do not take this medicine for more than 3 days without medical or dental advice.If you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak, please talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

If you have taken more than recommended, please consult a doctor immediately.The maximum daily dose of paracetamol for adults and adolescents aged 12 and over or with a body weight of 43 kg or more must not exceed 4,000 mg (equivalent to 16 sachets).In the event of an overdose, symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, paleness and abdominal pain may occur.

If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose.

Intake

The granules can be taken without water.Place the granules directly in your mouth on your tongue and swallow without water.Taking it after meals may result in a delayed onset of action.

Patient information

Talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this medicine if you or your child have impaired liver function, chronic alcoholism, are taking medications that affect liver function, or have certain medical conditions that may be associated with reduced glutathione levels.In these cases, only take the preparation after consulting your doctor first.

If symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days, or if you have a high fever, you or your child should see a doctor.

To prevent the risk of overdose, it should be ensured that other medicines used at the same time do not contain paracetamol.

Long-term, high-dose, improper use of painkillers can cause headaches, which should not be treated with increased doses of the drug.In general, habitual use of painkillers can lead to permanent kidney damage.

If painkillers are stopped abruptly after long-term, high-dose, improper use, headaches as well as fatigue, muscle pain, nervousness and vegetative symptoms may occur.These withdrawal symptoms subside within a few days. Until then, you should not take painkillers again and you should not take them again without medical advice.

Do not use this medicine for long periods or in higher doses without medical or dental advice.Taking the total daily dose once can cause serious liver damage;In such a case, medical help should be sought immediately.

The medicine has no influence on the ability to drive or use machines.Nevertheless, caution should always be exercised after taking painkillers.

The uric acid determination and the blood sugar determination can be influenced.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

If necessary, this medicine can be used during pregnancy.You should use the lowest possible dose that relieves your pain and/or fever and you should use the medicine for the shortest possible time.If pain and/or fever are not relieved or if you need to take the medicine more frequently, contact your doctor.

Paracetamol passes into breast milk.Since there are no known adverse consequences for the infant, it is generally not necessary to interrupt breastfeeding.
