Description

This medicine is a pain reliever and antipyretic agent, known as an analgesic and antipyretic.It is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches and period pains, as well as to reduce fever.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The main active ingredient of this drug is paracetamol with a concentration of 500 mg per effervescent tablet.In addition, it contains various excipients such as citric acid, macrogol 6000, sodium carbonate, sodium hydrogen carbonate, povidone K25, saccharin sodium, simeticone, sorbitol, sodium ions, lemon aroma, maltodextrin, arabic gum, alpha-tocopherol and natural and nature-identical flavorings.

Area of application

This preparation is suitable for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain and for reducing fever.It can be used for headaches, toothaches, period pains and other similar complaints.If symptoms do not improve after three days or worsen, a doctor should be consulted.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to paracetamol or any of the other ingredients.If you have known allergies or intolerances, you should avoid taking it.

Dosage

The dosage depends on the patient's body weight and age.As a rule, the single dose is 10 to 15 mg of paracetamol per kilogram of body weight, but not more than 60 mg per kilogram of body weight per day.The medicine should be taken no more than four times a day, with a minimum interval of six hours between doses.

Special patient groups

In patients with liver or kidney dysfunction, chronic alcoholism or a body weight less than 50 kg, the dose should be adjusted or the interval between doses increased.A total daily dose of 2 g of paracetamol should not be exceeded without medical advice.

Intake

The effervescent tablets are intended to be taken orally.Before taking they should be completely dissolved in a glass of water.Always take the medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

Patient information

Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the product if you are a chronic alcoholic, suffer from impaired liver or kidney function, are taking medications that impair liver function, or suffer from certain hereditary enzyme deficiencies.Caution is also advised when taking flucloxacillin at the same time.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

During pregnancy, paracetamol should only be taken after carefully weighing the benefit-risk ratio.Breastfeeding mothers can take paracetamol because it passes into breast milk and there are currently no known adverse effects on the infant.

Ability to drive and use machines

This medicine has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines.However, caution should always be exercised after taking painkillers.
