Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

The film-coated tablets contain the active ingredient ibuprofen.One tablet contains 400 mg of ibuprofen.The following ingredients are also included: corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate (vegetable), hydroxypropylmethylcellulose, macrogol 6000 (polyethylene glycol), talc and titanium dioxide.

Area of application

The film-coated tablets are an anti-inflammatory and analgesic medicine that is used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches, menstrual pain and fever.

Dosage

The film-coated tablets should always be taken exactly according to the package leaflet or after consulting a doctor or pharmacist.If you are unsure, you should contact a doctor or pharmacist.

For adults: If use is required for more than 3 days for fever or for more than 4 days for pain, or if symptoms worsen, medical advice should be sought.

For children and adolescents: If use is required for more than 3 days or symptoms worsen, medical advice should be sought.

The recommended dose is:

Children aged 6 to 9 years (20 kg to 29 kg body weight): ½ film-coated tablet (200 mg ibuprofen) 1-3 times daily, maximum daily dose 1½ film-coated tablets (600 mg ibuprofen).

Children aged 10 to 11 years (30 kg to 39 kg body weight): ½ film-coated tablet (200 mg ibuprofen) 1-4 times daily, maximum daily dose 2 film-coated tablets (800 mg ibuprofen).

Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults (body weight from 40 kg): ½ to 1 film-coated tablet (200 to 400 mg ibuprofen) 1-4 times a day, maximum daily dose 3 film-coated tablets (1200 mg ibuprofen).

After taking the maximum single dose, you should wait at least 6 hours before taking the next dose.The lowest effective dose should be used for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms.In the case of infections, if symptoms persist or worsen, a doctor should be consulted immediately.

The coated film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of liquid during or after a meal.If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take the tablets with meals.If the effect seems too strong or too weak, you should speak to a doctor or pharmacist.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Notes

If you have pain or fever, do not use for longer than stated in the package leaflet without medical advice.The medicine should not be used after the expiry date stated on the package.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
