Instructions for use for Ibu-LYSIN STADA® 400 mg film-coated tablets, 10 pcs
Ibu-LYSIN STADA® 400 mg film-coated tablets
Ibu-LYSIN STADA® 400 mg film-coated tablets offers quick and effective help with pain and fever. The product is suitable for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches and period pains as well as fever. It is suitable for adults and teenagers with a body weight of 40 kg or more (from 12 years).
The active ingredient ibuprofen lysine contains the vital amino acid lysine, which the body cannot produce itself and which is absorbed through animal protein products.Lysine serves as an additive in this product to accelerate the effect. The combination of ibuprofen and lysine ensures that the tablet dissolves quickly in the stomach and the active ingredient ibuprofen quickly enters the bloodstream to relieve pain and/or fever.
Area of application
Ibu-LYSIN STADA® 400 mg film-coated tablets contains ibuprofen-DL-lysine (1:1), the lysine salt of ibuprofen.Ibuprofen belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs/anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAR) that can relieve pain and reduce fever. This medicine is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, period pains and toothaches, as well as fever and pain associated with colds.
No prescription is required for this product. If you do not feel better or feel worse after 3 days of fever treatment and 4 days of pain treatment, contact your doctor.

Patient information
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine.Anti-inflammatory drugs/pain relievers such as ibuprofen may be associated with a slightly increased risk of a heart attack or stroke, especially when used in high doses.Do not exceed the recommended dose or treatment duration.
If you have an infection, the medicine may mask signs of infection such as fever and pain.It is therefore possible that the product may delay appropriate treatment of the infection, which may lead to an increased risk of complications. If you take this medicine during an infection and your infection symptoms persist or worsen, consult a doctor immediately.
Severe acute hypersensitivity reactions are very rarely observed. At the first signs of a hypersensitivity reaction after taking the drug, treatment must be stopped and a doctor consulted.Ibuprofen can temporarily inhibit platelet function.Patients with blood clotting disorders should therefore be carefully monitored.
If used for a longer period of time, regular monitoring of liver values, kidney function and blood counts is necessary.Using painkillers for a long time can cause headaches that cannot be treated with more painkillers.Talk to your doctor if you think this applies to you.
Elderly patients should be aware that they are at increased risk of adverse reactions, particularly bleeding and perforation of the gastrointestinal tract, which can be fatal. There is a risk of kidney dysfunction in dehydrated adolescents.
Ability to drive and use machines
When used for a short time and as directed, the medicine has no or negligible influence on the ability to drive and use machines. However, since central nervous side effects such as tiredness and dizziness can occur when used in higher doses, in individual cases the ability to react can be changed and the ability to actively participate in road traffic and operate machines can be impaired. This applies to an even greater extent when combined with alcohol.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.Do not take this medicine if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy as it could harm your unborn baby or cause problems during birth. It can cause kidney and heart problems in your unborn baby.It can affect you and your baby's bleeding tendency and may cause labor to start later or take longer than expected. You should not take this medicine during the first 6 months of pregnancy unless absolutely necessary and recommended by your doctor.
Only small amounts of ibuprofen pass into breast milk. The medicine can be taken during breast-feeding if the recommended dose is adhered to and it is used for the shortest possible time.
This medicine belongs to a group of medicines (NSAR) that may affect women's ability to reproduce. This effect is reversible after discontinuation of the drug.
