Information for use with the article Paracetamol AL 500 tablets: - Paracetamol AL 500 tablets contain the active substance paracetamol and are used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderately severe pain (such as headache, toothache, period pain) and/or fever. - The dosage depends on the body weight and age of the patient. - Children aged 4-8 years with a body weight of 17-25 kg should take 1/2 tablet 4 times a day, 6 hours apart. Children 8-11 years of age with a body weight of 26-32 kg should take 1/2 tablet 4-6 times daily (max. 3 tablets per day) 6 hours apart. - Adolescents 12 years and older and adults weighing more than 43 kg should take 1-2 tablets 4 times a day (max. 8 tablets a day) 6 hours apart. - The medicine should not be used for longer than 3 days without medical advice. - Side effects may occur, therefore a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted in the event of any disturbances of well-being or changes occurring during treatment. - The medicinal product is contraindicated in case of hypersensitivity to the ingredients as well as in case of impaired liver or kidney function and alcohol abuse. - Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a doctor before use. - The medicinal product should be protected from heat and stored in the dark.
