IBUPROFEN AL acute 400 mg film-coated tablets - For acute pain and fever
IBUPROFEN AL acute 400 mg film-coated tablets contain the proven active ingredient ibuprofen, which has anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving and fever-reducing effects. This medicine is used for mild to moderate pain such as headache, toothache, period pain and fever. It is an inexpensive remedy that is suitable for short-term relief of symptoms. No prescription is required for this product.
To relieve pain
Acute pain such as headaches, toothaches or period pains are usually not serious health threats, but they can be very unpleasant and impair performance.Until the cause is treated and the pain goes away on its own, appropriate medications can provide relief. IBUPROFEN AL acute 400 mg film-coated tablets contain the active ingredient ibuprofen, which has proven itself for decades in the treatment of mild to moderate pain and fever.Due to its good tolerability, the medicine can be given to children aged 6 and over after consulting a doctor. The film-coated tablets can be divided and allow for age-appropriate dosage. The treatment should not last longer than a few days.
Proven active ingredient
Pain is an important signal from the body that warns of harmful influences such as inflammation or injuries.Pain receptors on the skin, muscles, joints and internal organs detect stimuli such as pressure, heat or inflammatory messengers and transmit them to the brain via the nerve cords. There they are consciously perceived as pain. The active ingredient ibuprofen inhibits the formation of the body's own messenger substances (prostaglandins), which are involved in the transmission of pain and the development of inflammation. This means that ibuprofen has a pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory effect.
Area of application
IBUPROFEN AL acute 400 mg film-coated tablets are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and have an analgesic and fever-reducing effect. They are used for the short-term symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches, period pains and fever. The medicine is suitable for children weighing more than 8 kg (at least 6 months), adolescents and adults.
Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients
1 Film-coated tablet contains 400 mg ibuprofen.Other ingredients include carboxymethyl starch sodium (type A), hypromellose, macrogol 400, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate and corn starch.

The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients, if you have a history of asthma attacks, nasal swelling or skin reactions after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, if you have stomach or intestinal ulcers or in the last three months of pregnancy.Children under 6 years of age should not take the medicine as this dosage strength is generally not suitable due to the active ingredient content.

Patient information
Particular caution is required when taking the drug if you suffer from allergies, chronic swelling of the mucous membranes, chronic respiratory diseases, a congenital blood formation disorder, certain immune system diseases, gastrointestinal problems, kidney or liver diseases, high blood pressure or cardiac insufficiency. If you have these pre-existing conditions, you should speak to your doctor before taking the medication.Long-term, high-dose use or improper use of painkillers can cause headaches, which should not be treated with increased doses of the drug.Habitual use of painkillers can cause permanent kidney damage.Anticoagulants, medicines for high blood pressure and some other medicines may interfere with ibuprofen treatment or may interfere with it themselves. Therefore, you should always seek medical advice before using the medicine at the same time as other medicines. If the recommended doses are taken for a short period of time, no impairment of the ability to drive or use machines is expected.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant, you should ask your doctor or pharmacy for advice before taking any medication. If pregnancy is detected during prolonged use of the drug, the doctor should be notified. In the first and second trimesters of pregnancy, the medicine should only be used after consulting your doctor. The medicine must not be used in the last trimester of pregnancy due to an increased risk of complications for mother and child during birth.Breastfeeding: The active ingredient ibuprofen and its breakdown products pass into breast milk in small quantities.Since adverse effects on infants have not yet been reported, interruption of breastfeeding will not be necessary for short-term use of the recommended dose in the event of mild to moderate pain or fever.
Headache
Stress, lack of sleep or excessive alcohol consumption can cause pressing or pulling headaches that severely limit performance. IBUPROFEN AL 400 mg has proven effective for short-term relief of symptoms. If the headache persists, the cause should be clarified by a doctor.
With fever
The ingredient ibuprofen not only has a pain-relieving effect, but also has an anti-inflammatory and fever-reducing effect. This means that medicines containing ibuprofen are also suitable as a supplementary treatment for feverish colds. The effects generally last up to six hours.
When traveling
When traveling, especially abroad, it is often difficult to obtain appropriate medication.Ibuprofen relieves acute pain safely and reliably and has also proven effective for treating symptoms of headaches or fever.Due to its broad spectrum of effectiveness and good tolerability, IBUPROFEN AL acute 400 mg should not be missing from any travel first-aid kit.
