Instructions for use of Hofmann's arnica tincture

Arnica tincture Hofmann's is a herbal medicine that is used for the external treatment of blunt injuries and muscle or joint pain.The active ingredient of this product is a tincture of arnica flowers.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

Hofmann's arnica tincture is used for sports and accidental injuries such as bruises, sprains, bruises, painful swellings after injuries and bruises.It can also help with rheumatic muscle and joint problems, furunculosis, inflammation as a result of insect bites and superficial phlebitis.The medicine is not intended to be taken orally.

Application and dosage

Arnica Tincture Hofmann's should always be used exactly as directed.To prepare poultices, the tincture is diluted 3 to 10 times with water.Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults can apply a sufficient amount to the affected areas of the body several times a day.Avoid contact with mucous membranes, eyes and open skin areas.The medicine should not be used for longer than 1-2 weeks without medical advice.

Contraindications

Arnica tincture Hofmann's must not be used if you are hypersensitive to the ingredients or if you have open wounds.Children under 12 years of age should generally not use the medicine.There is no sufficient information about its use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, so in these cases you should seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist.

Composition

1 ml arnica tincture Hofmann's contains 1 ml tincture from arnica flowers [1:10 (Verhältnis Droge zu Auszugsmittel)].The extractant is ethanol 70% (V/V).

Storage

Keep Arnikatinktur Hofmann's tightly closed, protected from light and out of the reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the carton and label.Do not dispose of medicines via wastewater, but ask your pharmacy about the correct disposal.

Important notes

Caution is advised if you are allergic to daisy plants such as arnica, marigold, yarrow, echinacea and chamomile.If you have unclear or new symptoms that last longer than 1 to 2 weeks, you should consult a doctor.
