Ibu-ratiopharm® 400 mg acute pain tablets with the active ingredient ibuprofen are suitable for the effective treatment of acute pain and fever.The active ingredient ibuprofen relieves pain, inhibits inflammation and reduces fever.These tablets are suitable for the treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headaches, toothaches, joint pains, period pains as well as colds or flu-like infections with headaches, body aches and fever.Ibuprofen can also help with sports injuries and rheumatic joint problems.The tablets are divisible, making them easier to take and dosing individually.Ibu-ratiopharm® 400 mg acute painkillers are suitable for adults, adolescents and children aged 6 and over in the appropriate dosage.

Mode of action

Pain, inflammation and fever are caused in the body, among other things, by tissue hormones called prostaglandins.Ibuprofen inhibits the production of these messenger substances, which means that the tablets have a pain-relieving and fever-reducing effect.Ibu-ratiopharm® 400 mg acute painkillers are well tolerated and do not contain any ingredients of animal origin.They are free of gluten and lactose.

Ibu-ratiopharm® 400 mg acute painkillers contain the active ingredient ibuprofen.Each film-coated tablet contains 400 mg ibuprofen.The other ingredients are pre-gelatinized corn starch, hypromellose, croscarmellose sodium, stearic acid, colloidal silicon dioxide, macrogol 8000 and titanium dioxide.

Dosage

Ibu-ratiopharm® 400 mg acute painkillers should always be taken exactly as described in the package insert or after consultation with a doctor or pharmacist.For adults: If it is necessary to take it for more than 3 days if you have a fever or for more than 4 days if you have pain, or if the symptoms worsen, medical advice should be sought.The following applies to children and adolescents: If it is necessary to take it for more than 3 days or if the symptoms worsen, medical advice should be sought.The recommended dose is:

If you have taken the maximum single dose, wait at least 6 hours before taking your next dose.

Intake

Please take the film-coated tablets whole with plenty of liquid, such as a glass of water, during or after a meal.For patients with a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take the tablets with meals.

This is especially true if you drink alcohol at the same time.
