The medicinal product ibuprofen AL akut 400 mg film-coated tablets contains the active substance ibuprofen and is used to treat mild to moderately severe pain and fever. It is also effective for headaches, toothaches and period pains. Ibuprofen has an anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antipyretic effect. It is well tolerated and can be used from the age of 6 years. The film-coated tablets should be taken for a few days and must not be taken if you have stomach or intestinal ulcers, during pregnancy or if you are hypersensitive to ibuprofen. The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over is 1/2 to 1 film-coated tablet, up to a maximum of 3 tablets per day. Side effects may include tiredness, dizziness and gastrointestinal discomfort. Pregnant women should consult their doctor before taking it.
