Quick help for pain and fever
Ibu-LYSIN STADA® 400 mg film-coated tablets contains the active ingredient ibuprofen-lysine.Lysine is an essential amino acid that the body cannot produce itself.Only through food, such asB. animal protein products, lysine can enter the body.In our product, lysine serves as an auxiliary ingredient to accelerate the effect.The combination ibuprofen-lysine causes the tablet to dissolve quickly in the stomach and the active ingredient ibuprofen enters the bloodstream to quickly relieve pain and/or fever.
Area of application
This medicine contains Ibuprofen-DL-Lysine (1:1), the lysine salt of ibuprofen.Ibuprofen belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs/anti-inflammatory drugs (also known as NSAR for short), which relieve pain and reduce fever through their effects.
This medicine is used for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain such as headache, period pain and toothache, as well as fever and pain associated with the common cold.
No prescription is required for this product.If you do not feel better or feel worse after 3 days of fever treatment and 4 days of pain treatment, contact your doctor.

Ibu-LYSIN STADA 400 mg film-coated tablets contains: Each film-coated tablet contains 400 mg ibuprofen (as 684 mg ibuprofen-DL-lysine (1:1)).
Other ingredients: Tablet core: microcrystalline cellulose (E 460b), crospovidone (type A) (E 1202), copovidone, talc (E 553b), magnesium stearate (Ph. Eur.) [pflanzlich] (E 470b).Film coating: poly(vinyl alcohol), titanium dioxide (E 171), macrogol 4000, talc (E 553b).
Contraindications
Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.Also not if there is a history of gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation in connection with previous therapy with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAR).Also not in the case of existing or repeated stomach/duodenal ulcers (peptic ulcers) or bleeding (at least 2 different episodes of proven ulcers or bleeding) in the past.
Do not take if you have a history of allergic reactions (such as asthma, bronchospasm, rhinitis, angioedema or urticaria) after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other NSAR .Also not if you have severe liver or kidney dysfunction or severe heart muscle weakness (heart failure).
Do not take if you have bleeding in the brain (cerebrovascular hemorrhage) or other active bleeding.Also not in cases of more severe dehydration (caused, for example, by vomiting, diarrhea or insufficient fluid intake).Not during the last three months of pregnancy.
Dosage
Dosage recommendation for Ibu-LYSIN STADA 400 mg film-coated tablets: Adults and adolescents with a body weight of 40 kg or more (from 12 years).The starting dose is 400 mg ibuprofen.If necessary, additional doses may be taken every 6 hours.A total dose of 1,200 mg ibuprofen should not be exceeded in a 24 hour period.
The tablets should be taken with a glass of water.Patients who have a sensitive stomach are recommended to take Ibu-LYSIN STADA® during meals.
Intake
The medicine is to be taken orally.Take the tablets with a glass of water.For patients who have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take the preparation during meals.
Patient information
Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine.If you have an infection, consult a doctor.Anti-inflammatory drugs/pain relievers such as ibuprofen may be associated with a slightly increased risk of a heart attack or stroke, especially when used in high doses.Do not exceed the recommended dose or treatment duration.
You should discuss your treatment with your doctor or pharmacist before taking it if you have heart disease, including heart failure (heart failure) and angina (chest pain), or have had a heart attack, bypass surgery, peripheral arterial disease (circulation problems in the legs or feet due to narrowed or blocked arteries), or any type of stroke (including mini-stroke or transient ischemic attack ("TIA")).
Have high blood pressure, diabetes or high cholesterol, or a family history of heart disease or stroke, or if you are a smoker.Have or have had gastrointestinal diseases (ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease), as your condition may worsen.
Have systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE, an autoimmune disease, sometimes known as lupus) or mixed connective tissue disease (autoimmune disease that affects connective tissue).Have certain congenital blood formation disorders (e.g. acute intermittent porphyria).Suffer from mild to moderate liver or kidney dysfunction.
Have just undergone major surgery.Are allergic to other substances.Suffer from hay fever, nasal polyps or chronic obstructive respiratory disease as you are at increased risk of allergic reactions.The allergic reactions can manifest themselves as asthma attacks (so-called analgesic asthma), rapid swelling (Quincke's edema) or hives.
Pregnancy
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Pregnancy: Do not take this medicine if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy as it could harm your unborn baby or cause problems during birth.It can cause kidney and heart problems in your unborn baby.It can affect you and your baby's bleeding tendency and may cause labor to start later or take longer than expected.
You should not take this medicine during the first 6 months of pregnancy unless absolutely necessary and recommended by your doctor.If you need treatment during this period or while you are trying to conceive, the dosage should be as low as possible and for as short a period of time as possible.
Breastfeeding: Only small amounts of ibuprofen pass into breast milk.The medicine can be taken during breast-feeding if the recommended dose is adhered to and it is used for the shortest possible time.
