Mode of action

The active ingredient combination in Neuralgin PAC consists of paracetamol (250 mg), acetylsalicylic acid (250 mg) and caffeine (65 mg).This combination works faster than the individual active ingredients and is recommended in the guidelines for headaches and migraines.Caffeine enhances the effect of the other active ingredients and accelerates the onset of action.

Neuralgin PAC contains the following active ingredients: paracetamol, acetylsalicylic acid (Ph.Eur.) and caffeine.One tablet contains 250 mg paracetamol, 250 mg acetylsalicylic acid (Ph.Eur.) and 65 mg caffeine.The other ingredients include hypromellose, cellulose, microcrystalline, corn starch, pre-gelatinized, stearic acid (Ph.Eur.) and herbal ingredients.

Contraindications

Neuralgin PAC should not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.It must not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

Dosage

To treat headaches, adults can take one tablet of Neuralgin PAC .If necessary, another tablet can be taken after 4-6 hours.For migraine attacks, 2 tablets should be taken as soon as the aura or migraine symptoms begin.If necessary, 2 more tablets can be taken after 4-6 hours.The maximum intake of 6 tablets per day should not be exceeded.

Intake

Take the tablets whole with plenty of liquid, preferably a glass of water.Taking it after meals may lead to a delayed onset of action, but improves tolerability.

Patient information

Neuralgin PAC must not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.During pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should only use medication after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.Keep Neuralgin PAC out of the reach of children and do not store it above 30° degrees.

Notes

Neuralgin PAC contains caffeine.The amount of caffeine in one tablet is approximately the same as the amount of caffeine contained in 100 ml of coffee.Do not take Neuralgin PAC for longer than 3-4 days without medical advice.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the package.
