Directions for use of the article Cetixin 10mg Cetixin 10 mg Film-Coated Tablets contain the active substance cetirizine dihydrochloride and are used to relieve nasal and ocular symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and to relieve symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria. The tablets should be taken unchewed with a glass of liquid. The recommended dose is 10 mg once daily for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age and 5 mg twice daily for children between 6 and 12 years of age. In patients with moderate to severe renal impairment, a dose of 5 mg once daily is recommended. The duration of use depends on the type, duration and course of the symptoms and is determined by the doctor. The medicinal product should be kept away from heat and inaccessible to children. It must not be used if there is an allergy to the ingredients or if you have severe kidney disease. Possible side effects may include gastrointestinal discomfort, headache, dizziness, fatigue and skin reactions. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before use.
