Instructions for use for RhinoPRONT® combination tablets, 12 pcs
RhinoPRONT combination tablets for a cold with a stuffy nose
RhinoPRONT combination tablets offer an alternative to nasal sprays for a cold and help against pressure in the head caused by a cold. They reduce the swelling of the mucous membranes, make breathing easier and clear the nose. They also relieve the pressure in the head caused by a cold. These tablets are suitable for people aged 12 to 60.It is recommended not to combine them with alcohol and not to operate heavy machinery.
Mode of action
The active ingredients pseudoephedrine and triprolidine work together to constrict the blood vessels in the nose and reduce the swelling of the mucous membranes.Pseudoephedrine dilates the bronchi and makes breathing easier.Triprolidine, an antihistamine, prevents blood vessels from dilating and reduces allergic reactions such as sneezing and runny nose. This improves ventilation, allows inflammatory secretions to flow away, and makes breathing easier.
Area of application
RhinoPRONT Combi tablets are used for the symptomatic treatment of acute, allergic or vasomotor rhinitis when accompanied by a stuffy nose. They are suitable for young people aged 12 and over and adults up to 60 years old.
Application
Adolescents aged 12 and over and adults up to 60 years of age should take one tablet three times a day after meals with plenty of liquid, unless otherwise discussed with the doctor. If the effect causes drowsiness, a single dose in the evening may be sufficient. The score line is only used to divide the tablet to make it easier to swallow, not to divide it into equal doses.
The duration of treatment is about 3 to 5 days for acute rhinitis and about 10 days for allergic or vasomotor rhinitis.Once symptoms have subsided, you should not continue taking it.The recommended dose and duration of intake should not be exceeded.
Ingredients
Each tablet contains 60 mg pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and 2.5 mg triprolidine hydrochloride-1-water.Other ingredients include lactose-1 water, magnesium stearate, corn starch and povidone K30.
Notes
The medicine contains lactose. It should not be used after the expiry date stated on the package. No prescription is required for this product.
Information
A runny nose often begins with a tingling sensation in the nose and leads to swollen mucous membranes and a stuffy nose.Around 200 different types of viruses can cause a runny nose, which is also known as acute rhinitis.Allergic rhinitis often occurs as a symptom of hay fever or pollen allergies.Untreated colds can lead to a long-term sinus infection.
Two active ingredients for quick help against a cold
The RhinoPRONT combination tablets contain the active ingredients pseudoephedrine and triprolidine.Pseudoephedrine is a herbal active ingredient that constricts and causes the blood vessels in the mucous membranes to swell. At the same time, the bronchi expand and breathing becomes easier.Triprolidine is an antihistamine and relieves the urge to sneeze and a runny nose. The combination of these active ingredients allows the tablets to be used for acute, allergic and chronic rhinitis. The tablets offer quick help, especially if you have a deep-seated cold or a temporary runny nose. They reduce the swelling of the mucous membranes and normalize the increased mucus production in the nose, which quickly alleviates breathing difficulties.
