The Linola sept antiseptic skin cream contains the active ingredient clioquinol.100 grams of the cream contains 0.5 grams of clioquinol.In addition, the cream contains the following excipients: Carbomer 980, decyl oleate, unsaturated fatty acids (C18), glycerol monostearate, macrogol stearyl ether (3), methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, sodium ethyl 4-hydroxybenzoate, stearic acid, trometamol, bleached wax and purified water.

Contraindications

The Linola sept antiseptic skin cream must not be used if you are hypersensitive to one of the ingredients, allergic to iodine or have a middle ear infection.If you have thyroid disease, the cream should only be used for long-term use after consulting a doctor.The cream is not suitable for use on the conjunctiva of the eye.For infants and small children under two years of age, the medicine may only be used as directed by a doctor.Its use is not permitted during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Dosage

The cream should be applied thinly to the affected skin areas twice a day and massaged in lightly.Use should be continued until symptoms resolve.If symptoms recur after treatment has been completed, a doctor should be consulted.The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

The Linola sept Antiseptic Skin Cream is an oil-in-water emulsion with a water content of 82 percent.It has a pleasantly cooling effect when applied and is easy to spread.The cream is low in fat and contains no mineral oils or microplastics.It is suitable for daily use as long as there is a need or as directed by the doctor.

Patient information

In patients with thyroid disorders, plasma iodine levels should be monitored during long-term use.If clothing lies directly on the areas of skin that have been applied with cream, yellow discoloration may occur.It is therefore advisable to cover the treated skin areas with gauze.The skin cream may only be used on infants and small children after consulting a doctor and following his instructions.
