1 Gram of the cream contains the following active ingredients:

248.9 Milligrams of pyolysin culture filtrate consisting of Escherichia coli hydrolysate, Pseudomonas aeruginosa proteolysate, Streptococcus pyogenes lysate, Enterococcus faecalis and Staphylococcus aureus lysate.

69 Milligrams of zinc oxide.

5 Milligrams of salicylic acid.

Other ingredients include phenol, white petroleum jelly, glycerol monooleate, octadecyl octadecanoate, thin paraffin, hard paraffin and purified water.

Application

Pyolysin® wound and healing ointment is applied in a thin layer to the affected area 2 to 3 times a day.In the case of a lower leg ulcer, the cream is applied once a day after cleaning the affected skin area.If the wound does not improve after a week, it is advisable to see a doctor.

Contraindications

The ointment must not be used if there is hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.

Patient information

The ointment is not suitable for use on the eyes.If used at the same time as condoms, the tear resistance may be reduced.The cream should not be used in children under 12 years of age as there are insufficient data.The ointment should not be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless recommended by a doctor.No special precautions are required when driving or using machines.
