Dexpanthenol axicur® wound and healing cream is used to support the treatment of skin and mucous membrane lesions.The cream helps with superficial wounds, relieves itching in dry, cracked skin and is also suitable for teenagers and children.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

Dexpanthenol axicur® wound and healing cream promotes wound healing in superficial skin injuries such as abrasions, cuts, cracked skin or minor burns.These injuries are caused by mechanical stress or heat and impair skin function.The cream supports the regeneration of the affected skin cells and promotes the healing process of mucous membrane lesions.

Especially in winter, during the cold season, the skin can become irritated and cracked due to dry air and frequent blowing of the nose.Frequent hand washing and the use of disinfectants can also stress the skin.In these cases, Dexpanthenol axicur® supports the healing process.

The active ingredient in Dexpanthenol axicur® wound and healing cream is dexpanthenol.1 g of cream contains 50 mg of dexpanthenol.Dexpanthenol, also known as provitamin B5, is converted into vitamin B5 in human cells and stimulates the regeneration of damaged tissue.It balances the increased need for pantothenic acid in damaged skin or mucous membranes and supports the formation of new skin cells.

Other ingredients of the cream are Bronopol, wool wax, white petroleum jelly, thick paraffin and purified water.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Apply Dexpanthenol axicur® wound and healing cream thinly to the affected skin areas once or several times a day.The duration of use depends on the type and course of the disease, but should not be longer than 7 days without medical advice.

Intake

Apply the cream thinly to the affected skin areas.

Patient information

No special precautions are required.The ability to drive and use machines is not affected.
