Nystatin Holsten soft paste

Nystatin Holsten Softpaste is a healing paste that is used to treat fungal skin diseases.The paste contains the active ingredients nystatin and zinc oxide.Nystatin works against fungi by damaging their cell membrane, which inhibits or kills the fungi's growth.Zinc oxide supports wound healing, has an anti-inflammatory effect and binds moisture to the skin.

Areas of application

Nystatin Holsten Softpaste is used for fungal skin diseases that are caused by yeast fungi and are accompanied by inflammation.These include fungal infections of the skin and mucous membranes, fungal infections in the folds of the body, such as soreness under the breasts, on the buttocks or between the thighs, and fungal infections between the toes or fingers.The paste can also be used for diaper rash and inflammation in the genital and anal areas.

Application and dosage

The paste should be applied to the affected skin areas 3-4 times a day.The duration of treatment is usually 2-4 weeks, but can last longer if necessary.It is important to continue treatment for a few days after complete healing.No prescription is required for this product.
