LAMISIL Once® - athlete's foot treatment with one application

LAMISIL Once® is an antifungal solution that treats athlete's foot in just one application.This unique and patented solution eliminates the cause of athlete's foot and works for up to 13 days.The active ingredient terbinafine penetrates under the skin and relieves symptoms such as itching, burning, painful cracks, scaling and redness of the skin.It's easy to use: wash the infected area with warm, soapy water, dry thoroughly, and apply half the tube to each foot, even if only one foot is showing symptoms.Be sure to also cover the spaces between your toes and the soles and sides of your feet.Then let it dry and do not wash your feet for 24 hours.

Area of application

LAMISIL Once® is used to treat tinea pedis, a fungal disease of the foot in adults.This solution is particularly suitable for people who do not have the time for daily treatment.With just one application, athlete's foot between the toes can be combated and symptoms such as itching or redness can be alleviated.

LAMISIL Once® forms a terbinafine reservoir with a fungicidal concentration in the skin that persists for up to 13 days after the end of treatment.This ensures the best possible treatment adherence for patients, as correct application is crucial for treatment success.

The medicinally active ingredient is terbinafine (as hydrochloride).One gram of solution for use on the skin contains 10 mg of terbinafine (as hydrochloride).The other ingredients are poly(acrylamide coisooctyl acrylate), hydroxypropyl cellulose, medium chain triglycerides and ethanol.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity reactions can occur to all medicines and you must stop taking the medicine immediately.If an allergy to the active ingredient or one of the other ingredients of the medicine is known, it must not be used.

Dosage

Once® is LAMISIL preferably applied after a shower or bath.Use LAMISIL Once® only once.Wash both feet and dry them carefully.Wash your hands and dry them.Remove the cap from the tube.Apply the medicine to both feet.Use approximately half the tube amount for each foot as needed to cover the skin.Finish treating the first foot before treating the second foot.Using your fingers, spread the medicine evenly over the skin between, under, and on all toes.Then apply to the sole and edge of the foot.Do not rub or massage LAMISIL Once®.Treat each foot the same way, even if the skin looks healthy.This is to ensure that you completely eliminate the fungus - the fungus could be on the other foot even if there are no visible signs of it.Allow the medicine to dry into a film for 1-2 minutes before putting on your socks and shoes.Wash your hands with warm water and soap after use.After using LAMISIL Once®, you should not wash or wet your feet for 24 hours.After careful washing, the feet should be gently patted dry.Do not apply the product a second time. LAMISIL Once® immediately begins to kill the fungus.The film formed causes the active ingredient to penetrate your skin, where it remains effective for several days.Your skin condition should improve after a few days, but it may take up to 4 weeks for your skin to heal completely.If you do not notice any signs of improvement within 1 week of using LAMISIL Once®, please seek advice from your doctor or pharmacist. LAMISIL Once® should be used on both feet, even if there are visible signs of athlete's foot on only one foot.This is to ensure that the fungus is completely eliminated: the fungus could be present on other parts of the foot even if there are no visible signs.

Intake

Apply medicine after showering or bathing.Wash and dry both feet and hands before use.After washing, gently pat the skin dry.Apply a thin layer evenly between, on and around the toes.Apply medication to the sole and edges of the feet up to a height of 1.5 cm.The medicine should dry for 1-2 minutes to allow a film to form.Do not massage solution into skin. Do not wash the skin where the medicine was applied for 24 hours.

Pregnancy

During pregnancy and breastfeeding, you should only take medication after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.Only use the medicine during pregnancy if absolutely necessary.The medicine should not be used during breastfeeding.

Notes

No prescription is required for this product.Apply the medicine to the other foot as well, even if the skin looks healthy.Do not use medicine on the face.If the symptoms do not improve within a week, you should consult a doctor.The solution may cause eye irritation.In case of accidental eye contact, wash eyes thoroughly under running water.In case of an allergic reaction, remove the medicine with denatured medical alcohol and wash the feet with warm water and soap.
