Instructions for use for CLOTRIMAZOL AL 1% cream, 50 g
CLOTRIMAZOL AL 1% - Proven help with skin and athlete's foot
Many adults in Germany suffer from athlete's foot or fungal skin infections.Fungi prefer moist and warm environments, especially skin folds. If the skin is cracked or injured, fungi can penetrate, multiply and spread further.Common complaints include itching, redness, burning, skin changes and inflammation.
Fungal infections rarely heal on their own and are unpleasant. Therefore, the affected region should be consistently treated with clotrimazole at the first suspicion in order to contain the fungus.Clotrimazole can inhibit the growth of fungi and stop them from multiplying. The longer a fungus remains unattended, the more complex the treatment becomes.Although skin fungus is rarely dangerous, it is contagious and often recurs.Clotrimazole AL has been proven to be used regularly on the skin for years and is well tolerated.
Clotrimazole - proven active ingredient against mycoses
There are various active ingredients for treating a fungal skin infection.Clotrimazole has been used successfully as an antifungal agent for years.During the growth phase of the fungus, the active ingredient attacks its cell membrane, which then becomes leaky. As a result, the fungus loses the ability to reproduce and eventually dies. Many mycoses can be treated in this way.Treating the fungal infection can also relieve unpleasant side effects such as itching, redness or burning.
Application recommendation
Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, Clotrimazole AL 1% cream is consistently applied thinly to the affected areas 2 to 3 times a day and rubbed in.A small amount of the cream is usually enough.Regular and sufficiently long use is important for the success of the treatment. The duration of treatment depends, among other things, on the extent and the region affected. In order to achieve complete healing and prevent relapses, treatment should not be stopped after the acute symptoms have subsided, but should be continued for at least 4 weeks. In the case of athlete's foot, treatment should continue for about 2 weeks after all signs of the disease have disappeared, despite rapid subjective improvement.
Athlete's foot - a frequent guest
Mushrooms prefer a warm and moist environment.Common sources of infection are saunas, swimming pools or shared sanitary areas.Wearing slippers and regular foot hygiene can prevent infection. If athlete's foot does occur, clotrimazole AL can help with treatment.
Increased risk of mycoses
Some people are at higher risk of yeast infections. These include people with inherited susceptibility, older people, people with poor circulation or those who are overweight.Diabetics or chronically ill people become ill more easily. Here, early use of clotrimazole AL 1% when symptoms first appear can help to stop fungal infections.
Wear the right clothing
Airy dresses made from breathable materials such as cotton, silk or linen are beneficial for a healthy skin climate.Changing clothes and shoes regularly can also prevent fungal diseases.Synthetic materials, on the other hand, promote moisture and heat - ideal conditions for skin fungus. At the first symptoms of a skin fungus, treatment with clotrimazole is recommended to quickly contain the infection.
