The octenisan® washing gloves are specially designed for cleaning and caring for intact skin.They offer particularly gentle care thanks to the allantoin they contain.The gloves are ready to use immediately, do not require rinsing and are easy to use thanks to their practical glove format.They are also free of dyes and perfume.

No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

The washing gloves are suitable for washing the entire body, regardless of washing facilities.They are particularly suitable for washing immobile people in need of care and bedridden patients in intensive care and infection wards.They can also be used for whole body washing for MRE (multi-resistant pathogens).

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

The octenisan® wash gloves contain the following ingredients: Aqua, glycerin, phenoxyethanol, ethylhexylglycerin, octenidine HCl, cocamidopropyl betaine, allantoin, sodium lactate and sodium chloride.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

If necessary, the packaging can be heated in the microwave (30 seconds at 600 W) or in a warming cabinet.For a refreshing wash, the packaging can be cooled in advance (maximum 24 hours at +5°C).Open the soft pack carefully and remove a wash mitt if necessary.Clean the skin and allow the soaking solution to take effect for at least 30 seconds.Make sure the skin is completely wetted, especially in the armpits, between the fingers and toes, and other skin folds.Rinsing with water is not necessary.

We recommend the octenisan® wash cap for daily hair washing.If patients prefer the feeling of a classic hair wash, the octenisan® washing lotion can be used.For long-term daily use, you should cleanse in the meantime (e.g. weekly) with a washing lotion and water.

It is recommended to use one glove per body region:

1. Face, neck and chest

2. Right arm and armpit

3. Left arm and armpit

4. Abdomen in front

5. Right leg

6. Left leg

7. Back

8. Abdomen behind

The washing gloves are not suitable for children under 3 years.

Notes

The product should not be used if you have known allergies or are suspected of having an allergy to one of the ingredients it contains.When washing patients with octenisan®, do not use caring products such as care lotions.A combination with PVP-iodine products is not recommended.
