Instructions for use for ANTISCABIOSUM 25% emulsion, 200 g

Antiscabiosum 25% emulsion is an antiparasitic agent for the treatment of scabies in adults. It contains the active ingredient benzyl benzoate and is used as a less toxic agent when other antiscabiosa have not been adequately studied. The emulsion should be applied to the skin once a day for 3 consecutive days. Particularly affected skin areas, such as fingers, toes, body folds and genital area, should be treated thoroughly. After treatment on the 4th day, clothing and bed linen should be washed and the surrounding area cleaned to prevent re-infection. Antiscabiosum 25% should not be used for longer than 3 days. Side effects may include skin and mucous membrane irritation and itching. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before use. For more information, see the package leaflet.
