Area of application

The preparation is an antiscabiosum that is used externally on the skin.It is used to treat scabies, also known as scabies.

Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredient in this preparation is crotamiton with a concentration of 100 mg.In addition, it contains various excipients such as anhydrous citric acid, glycerol monostearate, isopropyl myristate, methyl cellulose, sodium citrate, perfume oil arnica (212924), 3-methyl-4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-2-en-1-yl)but-3-en-2-one, 2-benzylidenheptanal, benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate,Benzyl salicylate, citral, citronellol, coumarin, D-limonene, eugenol, farnesol, geraniol, alpha-hexyl cinnamaldehyde, isoeugenol, lilial, linalool, polyoxyethylene (100) monostearate, purified water and 20 mg benzyl alcohol.

Contraindications

This medicine must not be used if you are allergic to crotamiton or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.It should also not be used if you have an acute, weeping skin rash (acute exudative dermatitis).

Dosage

Always use the medicine exactly as described or after consulting your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose is applied thinly to the affected skin areas once a day.Children under 3 years of age should be used under medical supervision.The application should be repeated for 3 to 5 consecutive days until you are free of symptoms.

No prescription is required for this product.

If you have used more than you should, you can easily remove excess ointment with water.If you accidentally use it multiple times or swallow it, you should consult your doctor.

Patient information

Make sure that the ointment does not come into contact with the conjunctiva or mucous membranes (mouth, nose).At the first signs of a hypersensitivity reaction, you should stop using the medicine and consult your doctor.Children under 3 years of age should be used under medical supervision.No special precautions are required regarding the ability to drive and use machines.

Pregnancy

The medicine should only be used during pregnancy and/or breastfeeding after careful consideration of the benefit-risk ratio and taking into account alternative preparations.The medicine should not be used during breast-feeding unless clearly necessary, in which case breast-feeding must be discontinued.If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine.

Notes

Avoid contact with eyes and nose.Don't put it in your mouth.
