Instructions for use of the article Crotamitex ointment: 1. WAS IST CROTAMITEX SALBE UND WOFÜR WIRD SIE USED? Crotamitex ointment is an antiscabiosum for external use on the skin. It is used for the treatment of scabies. 2. WAS SOLLTEN SIE VOR DER ANWENDUNG VON CROTAMITEX SALBE NOTE? - Do not use Crotamitex Ointment if you are allergic to the active substance crotamiton or any of the other ingredients. - Do not use the medicine if you have an acute weeping skin rash (acute exudative dermatitis). - Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. - At the first signs of a hypersensitivity reaction, the application should be discontinued. - In children under 3 years of age, use should be under medical supervision. 3. HOW TO USE WIE IST CROTAMITEX SALBE ? Apply the ointment thinly to the affected areas of skin. The application should be made 1 time daily and repeated for 3 to 5 consecutive days. 4. WELCHE NEBENWIRKUNGEN SIND POSSIBLE? Possible side effects may include itching, contact dermatitis, hypersensitivity reactions (such as rash, eczema, redness, skin irritation, swelling of skin and/or mucous membranes) and temporary redness and warm sensation. At the first sign of a hypersensitivity reaction, the application should be stopped. 5. HOW TO STORE WIE IST CROTAMITEX SALBE ? Store the ointment at room temperature (not above 30°C) and out of reach of children. The expiry date after opening is 6 months. The ointment contains the active ingredient crotamiton (10%) and other excipients. It is available in packs of 40 g, 100 g and as a bundle pack of 200 g.
