Directions for use of the article Crotamitex: - Crotamitex is an emulsion containing 10 % crotamiton used for the treatment of scabies. - It must not be used if there is an allergy to any of the ingredients or in the case of an acute, weeping skin rash. - Crotamitex should not come into contact with the eye conjunctiva and should not be applied to mucous membranes. - There is a higher risk of side effects in children under 3 years of age. It should be used under medical supervision. - There are no known interactions with other medicinal products. - During pregnancy and breastfeeding, Crotamitex should only be used after consulting a doctor. - Possible side effects are itching, contact dermatitis and hypersensitivity reactions. - The medicine should be applied thinly to the affected skin areas and not washed off. - The recommended duration of treatment is 3-5 days. - In case of an overdose, you should consult a doctor. - Benzyl alcohol, cetyl alcohol, macrogol glycerol hydroxystearate and propylene glycol may cause skin irritation. - The medicinal product should be kept out of the reach of children and should be used within 6 months after opening.
