Active ingredients and ingredients

The active ingredients of Bepanthen Antiseptic Wound Cream are chlorhexidine bis (D-gluconate) and dexpanthenol.Chlorhexidine has an antibacterial and fungicidal effect, while dexpanthenol supports skin regeneration.The other ingredients include macrogol stearate 1500, glycerol monostearate 40-55, cetomacrogol 1000, thick paraffin, cetylstearyl alcohol (Ph.Eur.), Dimeticon 1000, glycerol 85%, hard paraffin, hyetellose and purified water.

Application and dosage

Apply the wound cream thinly to the affected skin areas twice a day.The duration of application depends on the type and course of the injury and is usually 1-2 weeks.If the wound does not improve or worsens, please see a doctor.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be used if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients.It should not be used on deep wounds or lower leg ulcers.Breastfeeding women should not use the cream on the breast area.
